I’ve been working out at various health clubs, in fitness classes, and on my own for years. But nothing has changed me like CrossFit Unrestrained. First, I became a part of the CrossFit Family. This wasn’t comfortable for me in the beginning, but I learned that we are all struggling, we all work hard, and we all support each other. As one of the “slower” members, I get more cheering and encouragement than the members finishing first. That’s an incredible boost in a workout. Second, I became stronger—mentally and physically. I was amazed at my strength and endurance on my first bike ride of the season last spring. I tackled hills I normally don’t attempt until summer. I know that my body is capable of more, so I don’t give up. Audrey, Ken, and Lindsey have created a place where we can grow stronger and always be welcome.
